Kent Sanneman was born on October, 14, 1985, in Lynchburg Virginia to David Lee Sanneman Jr. and Sharon Albert Sanneman. His name had been determined years earlier, while on their first date, Sharon told David that there son's name would be Kent Albert.

 

Kent grew up outside of Lynchburg in Forest, Virginia where he spent his early childhood running around the neighborhood pretending different parts of it where the decks of the starship Enterprise (NCC-1701 D). After graduating high school, he spend one year of college in a biology and pre-seminary track at Bluefield University. Biology won out. And Kent finished his biology degree with a focus on ecology at Longwood University in Farmville Virginia, graduating in 2008.

 

After losing his job at Kroger, where he worked during college and after, Kent took a job at Billy Craft Honda as a Service Cashier. He worked his way up to Assistant Service Manager and Dispatcher. 

 

After his employer, Billy Craft Honda was purchased in 2022, Kent continued to work there until creative differences made his continued growth there impossible. Leaving in August, 2024, Kent dusted off his resume and finally found a new family at Harbor Freight Tools as they were opening a new store in Farmville, Virginia. 

 

He met the love of his life, Stephen Marion, on OkCupid in 2018 and can't imagine what life was before this time. Kent had found his best friend, life partner, and husband. His own long midnight was done. Moving back to Farmville, Virginia full time in 2019, he lives there still with Stephen and their idiosyncratic cat, Biscuit.
